Through innovative methodologies, I-GAME is redefining how we approach learning and inclusion.

Highlights from the Second LTTA in Karditsa, Greece

The second Learning, Teaching, and Training Activity (LTTA) was held in Karditsa, Greece, from December 5-8, 2022. This event focused on empowering participants with the knowledge and skills needed to bridge disciplines for effective board game design in education.

Participants engaged in seminars and workshops that covered:

  • The history and evolution of rules design.

  • Understanding game mechanics and selecting the right ones for specific learning objectives.

  • Best practices for structuring and explaining game rules.

This immersive experience enabled participants to discuss with industry professionals, participate in the quality control process, and integrate these insights into their educational practices. By the end of the training, attendees shared their experiences and strategies for applying these learnings to their training routines.

The Path Ahead

As the I-GAME project progresses, it continues to transform outdated educational methods by showcasing the power of participatory, game-based learning. Through collaboration and innovation, we aim to make education more engaging, inclusive, and effective for all.
