Introducing the Tethics Board Game – Transforming Ethics into Action!

Alt Text

In today’s tech-driven world, ethical decision-making is more critical than ever. That’s why we’re excited to introduce Tethics, an innovative board game designed to help educators and learners navigate the ethical challenges of modern technology. 🌍✨

About the project

What Is Tethics?

Tethics is more than just a game; it’s a learning experience. Developed as part of the Erasmus+ project, Tethics invites players to assume roles like CEOs, researchers, and public relations officers, facing real-world dilemmas in technology development. The game combines critical thinking, strategy, and collaboration, making ethics engaging and accessible for Vocational Education and Training (VET) learners and trainers.

How Does It Work?

Players use resource cards and acceptance decks to tackle dilemmas like AI transparency, biomedicalization, and sustainability. Each decision comes with trade-offs, emphasizing the complexity of ethical choices in technology. Whether you’re advancing innovations or mitigating risks, every move impacts public acceptance and your team’s success.

Why Tethics Matters

This board game bridges the gap between theoretical ethics and practical application. It empowers players to:

  • Enhance critical thinking and decision-making skills.

  • Explore the social, legal, and ethical implications of technology.

  • Foster collaboration and debate among peers.

By making ethical dilemmas tangible and interactive, Tethics equips learners with the tools to thrive in a tech-driven world.

What’s Next?

Stay tuned for the upcoming release of the Tethics game! Whether you're a trainer looking to engage students or a learner eager to explore ethical dimensions of technology, Tethics offers an unparalleled educational experience.
