From October 14–18, 2024, the Tethics: A Serious Game for Ethics in Technology project hosted a dynamic Learning, Teaching, Training Activity (LTTA) in Athens, Greece. This event, held at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, brought together diverse participants to test and refine the Tethics board game—a groundbreaking tool for teaching ethics in technology through interactive play.
What Happened at the LTTA?
Over five days, participants engaged in testing sessions designed to assess the game’s mechanics, content, and educational impact. The agenda included:
Presentation of Project Progress: An update on the project’s development.
Board Game Testing Sessions: Interactive gameplay where participants explored ethical dilemmas related to AI, data privacy, and sustainable technology.
Feedback Collection: Valuable insights from educators, researchers, gamers, and gender studies specialists were gathered to enhance the game.
Networking Opportunities: Participants connected with peers and experts in ethics, education, and technology.
